CO2check launches a global system that transforms climate data into shared infrastructure.
After a seven-month pilot period, CO2check is now launching. A Swedish climate calculation system that uses its own AI to automate climate calculations, action analysis, and data sharing between companies. The result is up to 95% time savings compared to traditional processes and a new standard for how climate data is managed.
Unlike manual calculations and static tools, CO2check can read all types of documents in their original format, from energy invoices to supplier reports, and calculate emissions according to established methods such as the GHG Protocol. The platform covers the entire value chain, including Scope 1, 2, and 3, and can be used as a shared data stream within groups or between customer and supplier.
– "Companies are drowning in sustainability requirements but lack the structure to calculate their emissions. CO2check builds that infrastructure with a system that can read, calculate, and suggest actions directly from the source," says Theo Carlström, Founder, CO2check.
During the test period, the platform has been used by larger companies and advisors to streamline their climate calculations and strengthen the quality of reporting. With AI-supported calculations, data becomes more consistent, verifiable, and possible to integrate across the entire business flow.
– "What previously took weeks can now be done in minutes with full transparency and traceability. That's how climate data becomes truly useful."
CO2check is now available for companies, sustainability consultants, and advisors who want to build a shared, faster infrastructure for climate data.
